Summary

[edit]
Description
English: One of two shots of a Seaboard System Railroad caboose at the west end of Elm Street west of First Street, in Folkston, Georgia. The caboose is located south of the Folkston Funnel, and like the Railside Lodging on Oak Street, it is used as one of the tourist cabins. As you can see on the right side of the Bay Window, Seaboard System consisted of the former Seaboard Coast Line Railroad, the Louisville and Nashville Railroad, the Georgia Railroad and Banking Company, the Clinchfield Railroad, the Western Railway of Alabama and the Atlanta and West Point Railroad (a.k.a., the "West Point Route.").
